Just bought a Lenovo tablet for replicating NMEA Data and other stuff such as writing this blog... My first Android device. I am a bit against Android and Apple stuff but unfortunately windows can not offer all the apps & functions of android/IOS.

New inflatable Lifebuoy
Decided to go with inflatable lifebuoy. Saves space, easy to put away when in port and so on... Opted for the hard case, height about 25cm and diameter just over 10cm.
Hard case can be made to a soft one easily just by removing the inner pipe.
Complies with ISAF Offshore Special Regulations as the lifebuoy for Cat. 3 (for Cat. 2 you need to add one with "permanent buoyancy" ie. foam.)
For Jonbuoy details click here.

Getting the boat ready for the summer
Summer is getting closer and Seanna is almost ready for the season. Plan is to sail the Balearic's and then head north, destination Helsinki, Finland.
Teak decks were in pretty good shape, in the picture below the decks have received a gentle wash and an light acid treatment. I am happy with the deck for now, will try to get all the mold/black spots away before summer.
Carbon spinnaker pole needs small repairs, that goes to the to do list, Halyards are mostly ok for now, one of the top halyards needs to be cut and re-spliced (I might change the whole thing and use the line for something else) Need to find good supplier for Dyneema? All the sails are at North Sails Valencia for small repairs, The new Main&Jib should be ready very soon. They will be 3DL 860's.
Engine, Volvo Penta D2-55C, was serviced in December and all AGM batteries are being replaced as we speak.
Potable Water tanks have been cleaned and the whole system chlorinated, so that should be ready to go.
Changed out both toilets, a complete set was about the same price as set of gaskets etc...
Upholstery, cushions and mattresses in the forward berth (where the magic happens) are being changed out. will be interesting to see how they turn out?
The old wooden cascading hatch will have to go and it will be replaced with a Polycarbonate/Plexi for more light in the interior as well as more modern look.
Good tunes are needed for the lazy summer days floating around windless nights, maybe a little bit in the harbors as well.. . Radio was changed to new Alpine BT-radio, inside speakers upgraded to JL-Audio 6,5" speakers, and for the most important ones in cockpit we ended up with JL Audio MX650's.
And then there is the wishlist...
